LHIN Protests

Representatives from the 4-major health care unions in Ontario took
to the streets Tuesday to protest Local Health Integration
Network Legislation.
Health Care professionals picketed in front of several Northern Ontario
Hospitals.
Registered Nurse Judy Carlson says despite recent talk about LHINS in
the media, most people still don’t know what they mean.
Carlson says the Province needs to change the Legislation and make
the community representatives on the LHIN Board elected officials.
