The Provincial Government is trying to ram through its local Health
Integration Network Legislation.
That claim from Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton who is
attempting to slap the brakes on the controversial bill.
The Kenora-Rainy River MPP adds the Network will take health services
away from smaller communities and centralize them in larger centres.
Hampton says the quality of health care will drop in this Region.
The NDP Leader is also upset that LHIN Board members are elected by the
government and not taxpayers.
