A couple of high profile Liberals are making the rounds of Northwestern Ontario drumming up support for local candidate Roger Valley.
The Party’s National Caucus Chair Anthony Rota and Winnipeg area MP Anita Neville were in Kenora on Monday.
Rota says Northerners should be wary of the recent Federal Government funding announcements for area Infrastructure projects.
Rota promoted his Private Members Bill calling for the Government to make FedNor a stand alone agency accountable to Parliament and not just the Industry Minister.
He also talked about H1N1 pandemic planning and the future of Northern communities.
