Liberal MP Goes Through With Formal Complaint

Liberal MP Marlene Jennings is taking a strong stand in her belief that Kenora MP Greg Rickford broke the rules when advertising a weekend information session and fundraiser on his Government website.
Jennings says she’s called the Board of Internal Economy to launch a formal investigation.
She notes Rickford is not allowed to use his Parliamentary budget to promote an organization or an event.
Jennings says its nonsense for Rickford to believe that this complaint was launched because she want’s to keep the gun registry.
She stresses she would be filing the same complaint if had been any other MP, for any other group.
