Liberal MP Urging Feds To Keep ELA Open

One Liberal MP is urging Canadians to keep the pressure on the government about the Experimental Lakes Area.
Lawrence MacAulay is the vice-chair of the Fisheries and Oceans Committee and says that we have the power to persuade the governments decision.
MacAualy says the cost of closing the ELA is 25-times more than the $2-million in funding it gets from the government annually.
The government is facing public and political pressure to continue funding the ELA.
