The Liberals in the Kenora-Rainy River Riding has selected their candidate for the next provincial election.
Mike Wood, a Dryden City Councillor, took the majority of
the votes cast over the weekend, when a travelling ballot
box went across the riding.
Wood says all three candidates are now united in their goal of winning the riding for the grits in the next election.

A total of 174 votes were cast in the nomination process.
The NDP are expected to nominate party leader Howard Hampton later this month, while the conservatives are still seeking a candidate for the October 10th vote.
