Lillian Berg School has found a way to teach leadership skills while
raising over $1,000 for the victims of the South Asia Tsunami.
The Grade 4 and 5 class raised the money through a series of
in-school activities as well as a fundraising drive in Vermilion Bay.
Principal Jackie Neall says it all started with a class discussion
about “making a difference.”
Teachers Carol Krantz and Jill Hron got the ball rolling
and feel this type of learning has paid off.
