In Loving Memory of Lillian Walter.
Mrs. Walter was born in Dryden on September 23, 1930; and remained in the area all her life. Spending time with family was most important to her. Being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend meant so many different things to so many. The warmth of her heart and love could be felt by the many ways she catered to others. Running errands, driving friends to various appointments, playing cards, and just being there were her ways of showing affection. For her own family Lillian provided many special touches, besides her love making a special “medicine soup” when someone was ill, knitting or crocheting for family was only part of it. The outdoors meant so much to her as well. Gardening, camping, fishing were of interest to her, and when she had time to spare, crafts of all sorts were made. Described best as having a big heart, making time to help others, and being a good friend. She passed away in Dryden, on November 6, 2002. Mrs. Walter was predeceased by husband Ernie, daughter Darlene, daughter in law Agnes and grandson Ernie. Lillian is survived by her children; son Bill Walter of Winnipeg, daughters Betty (Gene) Lyle, Dorothy (Lewis) Fisher and son Rob (Tracy) Walter all of Dryden. Grandchildren, Troy (Jen), Geno (Courtney), Tammy, Chris (Ang), Sheena, Brittney, Mikayla, Stefani, Michelle and Brennan. Great grandchild Laike.
