An area service club is taking Special Olympians under its wing.
Lions clubs across northwestern Ontario, Minnesota, and Manitoba intend to add Special Olympics as one of their key charities of choice.
District governor Mark Osthus says more details will be released at their winter convention in Duluth.
Osthus says support could be in the form of financial or manpower.
