Lloyd O’Doud

In loving memory of Arthur Lloyd O’Doud who passed away at his home at the age of 88. Lloyd will be remembered by his three daughters, Karen Apland, Lyn Robinson and Debbie O’Doud and his best companion Sparky. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Terry and Tisha Robinson, Shawne, Karsen and Kyla Apland and Reilly O’Doud; and 9 great grandchildren, Trent, Brynn, Damon, Carter, Tanner, Kira, Ashley, Kooper and Bronson: sisters-in-law, Mabel Brown and Rella Bailey and brother-in-law Sid Prouty. Also surviving are numerous nephews and nieces. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Viola and friend Bert Chartrand.

Lloyd was born in Regina and moved to Dryden as a child. He served in WWII from 1942-1945. Lloyd was a Legion and Moose member and enjoyed playing horseshoes with the Horseshoe Club. Lloyd was known for his driving school and limousine service. He joined the A&W coffee club and enjoyed the daily gathering prior to his illness.

A Memorial Funeral Service was held Tuesday, December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in First United Church with Pastor Greg McKee officiating. Interment of ashes will take place in the Dryden Cemetery at a later date.
