Local Businesses Urged To Voice Their Concerns Over New Labour Laws

Opposition to Ontario’s new labour and employment laws isn’t cooling down.

Chamber of Commerce groups from across northwestern Ontario are being asked to raise their voice and tell the government that they are concerned about the potential impact of the changes.

An online letter has already been drafted but local businesses can also edit and personalize it with specific concerns about contract work, scheduling, bargaining, minimum wage increases or other issues.

The Dryden Chamber has already publically stated that the changes could hurt small, local businesses across the region.
