The Liberal party is critical about the Conservatives Universal Child Care Benefit.
As a response, the grits have introduced the Canada Child Benefit, which is aimed to help low to middle-class families.
Kenora riding candidate Bob Nault believes the Conservatives benefit doesn’t give money to who needs it the most.
Nault says it’s important to provide support to only those who really need the help.
He adds families with an income over $190,000 will not be able to take advantage of the benefit under the Liberal plan.
Nault says the benefit will be tax free and a cheque will be in the mail every month.
