The MPP for Kenora Rainy River is critical of the plans to sell off Hydro One.
Sarah Campbell says the government is painting a positive outlook on their plan to sell 60% of the utility.
However, Campbell says there’s nothing positive about the move, noting it opens the door to privatization.
Campbell feels the move will lead to increased rates and less reliability for consumers.
The province says they will limit any private shareholder to a maximum 10% stake in the utility company.
