Local MPP Wants To Get Back To Work

Kenora Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell wants the Liberal Government to bring MPPs back to work.
Campbell was in Thunder Bay on Thursday to launch an Ontario wide petition asking for the Ontario legislature to resume work.
She says there’s valuable legislation that isn’t being addressed while the legislature is on break.
She had put forward a private members bill which deals with the economy in Northwestern Ontario, but says because the legislature is at a halt, nothing can be done at the moment.
The legislature is adjourned while the Liberals look for a new leader.
