Dryden Police now have an officer trained to use a unique device.
Constable Travis Randall went to Thunder Bay to learn how to use a “Forward Looking Infrared” machine.
The device can see heat signatures through walls and helps in finding marijuana grow ops.
Chief Derek West says in the future if they need to use the device they’ll borrow one, but doesn’t say if or when that would be.
