Local Players Teaming Up With Mayors Committee

3 local members of the ‘AAA’ Atom Northwest Flyers Hockey team are holding a fundraising garage sale and BBQ on Saturday.
Half of the money raised will help cover the costs of their participation with the traveling team.
The boys have also teamed up with the Mayors Committee for Children and Youth and the other half of the proceeds will go to help less privileged children play hockey this season.
The event is from 9 until 1 at the Town and Country Motel on Government Street.
