Canada Post carriers won’t be delivering the mail today (Tuesday) and Thursday as part of the ongoing postal strike.
Mary Aiken is the President of the Dryden Local Canadian Postal Workers Union.
Aiken says Canada Post is reducing postal service to Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Aiken adds Canada Post has decided to deliver other items by other means, which she says is a violation of the Canada Labour Code.
Union and company officials are still at the bargaining table.
