Local Representation On Hockey Canada Board

Northwestern Ontario once again has some representation on the board of directors of Hockey Canada.

Kenora’s Barry Reynard was re-elected this past weekend in a virtual session.

He says it’s an honour to sit on the board, especially when there was so much change.

“To be able to be re-elected back to the board,” states Reynard.

“(It’s) a journey year where (there’s a) transition to a very much now inclusive and diverse board where we had a number of changes and for the first time had three directors elected. Very excited to be moving forward with that.

Reynard moved back to Kenora this year after spending the past 13 years in Dawson Creek, BC.
