Travis Bodnar scored three times, while Ryan Shapland added two to lead the Juventus to a 7-2 win over the Dryden Physioquest United.
Joel Zieroth and Ritchie Callaewart added singles.
Jordan Swinetek and Charles Cortez replied for the United.
In Senior Women’s Soccer, Grace Douglas had a pair of goals to lead the Sew What Printwear Caution to a 3-2 win over the Sioux Lookout Strikers.
Monica Tourond chipped in with a goal, while Jamie Poling scored both Strikers goals.
Meantime, the playoffs are underway in local ball.
The Domino’s Swingers and Bedrock Brawlers have drawn first blood in their Best-of-3 Dryden Ladies Fastball Quarter-Final’s.
The Swingers downed the Gillons Stealers 22-7, while the Brawlers defeated the Ricci Trucking Devils.
In Men’s Slo-Pitch, the Hagens Heroes have advanced to the Semi-Final with a 19-16 win over the Sluggers.
The Backforty Outfitters have also advanced with a win over the Brewers.
