Students in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board have been doing an impressive job this year raising funds for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Since March of this year, the public school board says it’s 19 elementary and high schools have managed to raise over 386 thousand dollars.
That’s through a combination of Terry Fox Runs and other fundraising events for cancer research.
Lillian Berg School in Vermilion Bay is tops in terms of raising cash, collecting just over 69 thousand dollars.
