Somewhere in some underdeveloped nation, a child will have a smile on their face this Christmas.
That’s because of the generosity of local residents.
698-shoe boxes full of gifts have come in for ‘Operation Christmas Child’.
Dryden Spokesperson Donna Petiquin says she received shoe boxes full of goodies from Dryden, Pickle Lake, Savant Lake and the entire Kenora District.
Petiquin says shoe boxes can be collected all year long.
