Police want to make sure this a safe and memorable holiday season for everyone.
The ‘Lock It or Lose It’ campaign is underway.
OPP Sergeant Peter Leon says officers will be out to ensure vehicles are locked and valuables are left out of plain view.
Leon says some motorists may see a pamphlet on their windshield with tips on how to keep their vehicle safe.
He notes folks should refrain from keeping loose change or any electronic device inside the vehicle.
Leon recommends parking in a well-lit area and never leave your vehicle running unattended.
