Lodge Owner Fined

A Dryden-area Lodge-Owner has been hit with a $1,000 fine
for issuing moose validation tags to non-residents who were not registered
guests at his facility.
The Owner of Herschman’s Canadian Lodge on Upper Manitou Lake has
also had his allocation for 2-bull moose tags suspended.
3-hunters have also been fined in relation to the October 2003 incident.
Tourist Operators can make more than $3,000 on a moose
hunt.
