Lodge Owner Fined

After an undercover operation by MNR officials, a Sioux Narrows resort owner and lodge have been convicted in two separate trials of having a large number of walleye over the limit.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the owner of Totem Lodge in Sioux Narrows and the lodge itself have been fined a total of 17-thousand dollars.
The violations in question date back to June of 1998 when the MNR was conducting undercover operations on Lake of the Woods.
