It appears curling may be offered in Dryden for the 2007-2008 season.
Dryden District Curling Club Spokesperson Andrew Skene says they have
ordered the condensor and registration for the upcoming season will start in
about 2 weeks.
The club needed to raise $17,000 to keep curling at Eagles
Landing and Skene says they are still accepting $100 donations from
its 200-plus members.
The City has approved a loan of up to $8,500 over 2 years
to keep the sport in Dryden.
Looks Like a Go for Curling
