Loretta Christine Barboni
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Loretta Barboni on November 2, 2008 at the La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario. Loretta was born on January 1, 1943 in Stratton, ON
Loretta will be sadly missed by her sons: Brad (Marlene) and Rick (Mel), step-children Terry Wilson Vanderbrand (Bonnie) and Mary Anne Reimer (Randy) and by 7 beautiful grandchildren. Loretta also leaves behind her best friend and sister Barbara Raine (Rick Lindholm), sisters Patsy Cameron and Verna Larocque (Hubert), brother Rocky Cameron (Adeline), sister-in-law Sophie Cameron, Auntie Mary Peterson, many nieces, nephews and longtime friend Albert Barboni (Marion).
Loretta’s greatest passion in life was Lake Despair with Dale, where they loved when their families and friends would gather for good times, laughter, fishing and blueberry pies. She also loved the other great joy, her dog Cha-chi.
Loretta was predeceased by her partner and best friend Dale Wilson in 2004, her parents Allan Cameron and Helmy Cameron, and brothers Darryl Peterson and Scotty Cameron.
In accordance with Loretta’s wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside interment service will be held Saturday, November 8th at 1:00 p.m. in the Dryden Cemetery with Rev. Mary Mennell officiating.
