A change at the helm of the Dryden District Chamber of Commerce.
Lorna Wood has been hired as Manager.
Wood brings with her 29-years of small business ownership and experience working for the Federal government.
She says her experience speaks for itself and believes it makes her well rounded for the position.
Wood will be concentrating on assisting local businesses and help them maintain the voice of business.
Wood notes her first priority is sitting down with Chamber members and the Board of Directors to hear their concerns and what they want to see moving forward.
Chamber President James Cochrane says Wood has a complete understanding of the important role small businesses play in our community.
Cochrane adds they are excited about the new ideas she will bring to the table.
