Kenora MP Greg Rickford is spending this afternoon in Ear Falls, where he is expected to announce support for local groups and organizations.
Rickford says they are visiting the Whispering Pines Seniors Centre, and from the New Horizon’s Program they are supporting the seniors efforts to promote the activities that they have in their community, along with some of the organizations they’re involved with.
In addition, Rickford says money from the Community Infrastructure Fund will go towards the insulation and repair of the roof at the Arena.
Rickford will also drop the puck tonight at the first home game of the newly formed SIJHL team, the English River Miners.
