There should be no shortage of activities this summer for Dryden
residents.
Recreation Programmer Shannon Brennan says the City will be offering a
number of programs for kids, teens and adults.
One of the highlights will be guided kayak and canoe trips and lessons.
Brennan says they will also be promoting the use of Dryden’s trail
system, skateboard park and Camp Prospect for youth aged 6 to 12.
Meantime, Dryden’s Community Garden is ready to celebrate its first full year in operation.
The 85 King Street meeting place officially opened in September and
Brennan says they are planning farmers markets and other events at the Garden.
The city also hopes to expand the Garden to include a gazebo, more
benches and additional plots of land.
Lot’s to do This Summer
