A relatively quiet summer for the Dryden Police Service.
However Chief Rob Davis says they’re receiving a lot of complaints about loud mufflers on cars. Davis says it’s the noise that’s bringing it to people’s attention, but they’re also hearing about a lot of erratic driving, drag racing and people blowing stop signs.
Davis says if you have a car with a loud muffler, use common sense because there are people out there who have to work early in the morning.
The Dryden Police are beefing up their patrol looking for erratic and aggressive drivers.
Davis says in the end, it’s all about respecting the community.
