The time spent in the emergency room for complex procedures is an average 5.5-hours, while the wait time for minor treatment is 3.6-hours.
The Provincial target is 8 and 4-hours respectively.
The wait times at the Lake of the Woods Hospital in Kenora is 9.6-for complex treatment and 5.3 for minor observation.
The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is 7.8-hours and 3.4.
The three Hospitals were the only Northern facilities to participate in the Ontario Government initiative.
