Lakehead University is gaining national recognition at their Research and Innovation Week.
The University has been presented with the Equity Recognition Award by the Canada Research Chairs Program for the schools’ representation of minorities within their faculty.
Executive Director Michele Boutin says the award helps communication at schools.
Boutin goes on to say that Lakehead University met all of its targets for representation of women and minorities.
