LU Paying Lobbyist

The NDP has revealed that Lakehead University in Thunder Bay is one of nine colleges and Universities to pay for a lobbyist.
Lakehead put $33,000 towards lobbying efforts.
The Provincial Government is planning to table a bill that would stop taxpayer dollars from flowing into the pockets of lobbyists.
LU officials say that they have never used government grants, tuition fees, or donor funds for lobbying efforts.
