LU Professor Reacts To Ukraine Crisis

A renown political scientist at Lakehead University says it’s anyone’s guess on what is going to happen in Ukraine.
The country’s ousted president continues to be on the lam.
Laure Paquette says Russian rhetoric is escalating and she believes the unrest will lead to serious political and economic problems.
Paquette says the risk is that the tensions will increase between the Russian speaking and Ukrainian speaking people in that country.
She is calling for peaceful protests but expects more unrest no matter who’s in charge.
Paquette doesn’t believe there will be an early end to the conflict.
