The president of the Conservative Riding Association in Kenora-Rainy River is going to be their candidate in the upcoming provincial election.
Penny Lucas was the only person to submit nomination papers for the October 10th vote.
Lucas says she’s looking forward to the challenge.

candidate Michael Wood from Dryden and N.D.P. leader Howard Hampton, who is expected to win his party’s nomination next weekend.
