The Lake of the Woods Control Board is reducing outflow
from the lake into the Winnipeg River.
The lake level dropped 4 centimeters over the past week,
and is expected to continue to decline another 3 cm’s next
week.
Spokesperson Rick Cousins says conditions on the
Winnipeg River are slowly improving as well.

Cousins says the water levels will be slightly higher
than normal for the winter freeze up.
