Lyn Mcleod Announces Plans to Step Down

After 15 years in provincial politics, Lyn Mcleod says her current term as MPP for Thunder Bay-Atikokan will be her last.
Mcleod made the official announcement over the weekend.
She wants to spend more time with her family.
Mcleod says the family practice residency program and a new Thunder Bay hospital are two accomplishments that she feels will benefit the entire region.
In addition to her terms as MPP, she also served as the previous provincial Liberal leader, the first woman in Ontario to do so.
