The Cadet National Biathlon competition has wrapped up in Valcartier,
Quebec, with a good showing from the 906 Machin Royal Canadian Air Cadet
Squadron in Vermilion Bay.
On Thursday, Dryden’s Heidi Hutchinson placed 4th, just 2-seconds out
of third in the 6-kilometre patrol race, while Nathan Mallyon of Minnitaki
finished 7th in the junior boys category.
In Friday’s patrol race, Hutchinson’s team finished with a silver
medal, while Mallyon’s team crossed the finish line in 7th.
Hutchinson finished the competition with 2-silver medals.
