The Township of Machin is getting a nice little shot in the arm from the provincial government.
The community has been promised more than 1.1 million dollars to fix up the arena in Vermillion Bay.
Mayor of Machin, Garry Parkes says that the building is badly in need up renovations.

Parkes says the arena project was one council’s main capital priorities in 2008, and is pleased the provincial government has agreed to pick up 100 percent of the cost of renovations.
