Ontario Provincial Police have now laid charges against a Machin man following an assault late Wednesday night in Dryden.
Officers responded to an apartment complex on Clearwater Crescent around 10 p.m. to a report of an assault, however no serious injuries were reported as a result.
An investigation led officers to identifying and locating the accused at a motel in Vermilion Bay, where he was taken into custody.
The 62 year old faces the charges of:
· Assault
· Uttering threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
He has since been released and is expected to appear in court on March 25th.
