The Municipality of Machin has officially opened its new Waterfront Pavilion.
The 1,300 square foot log structure is located in Pine Tree Park, overlooking Eagle Lake.
The Pavilion includes a set of interpretive panels that depict some of the important events in the last 100 years in the community.
The Pavilion was spearheaded by the Vermilion Bay Lions Club and designed and constructed by local artist Burton Penner.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund contributed over $16,000 to help build the structure.
