Mail Scam in Dryden Area

Dryden Police are warning residents of a mail scam that has hit the area.
A resident received a letter from Spain from someone claiming to be a lawyer from a deceased family member.
The letter requested banking information so that the money could be deposited to the account as a beneficiary.
Police again ask to not give out banking information and if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
