Major Award for Goldcorp in Red Lake

Goldcorp in Red Lake has received the 2010 Passport to Prosperity Employer Champion Award.
The Mining company picked up the Provincial honour Wednesday for providing learning programs for High School students in the community.
For the past 25-years, students have been given the opportunity to participate in job shadowing, mentoring and career development programs to help them better understand the mining industry.
