The City of Dryden will be hosting a major conference on innovation snd
entrepreneurship next September, pending the approval of grant applications.
The 2-day session will attract well over 100 small business owners,
underemployed or unemployed people from the Kenora, Rainy River and Thunder
Bay Districts.
Economic Development Officer Vicki Kurz says they are hoping to spur
economic growth.

Kurz says the conference will provide delegates with access to various
financial and Government resources and contacts and will allow for the
formation of partnerships.
