A Facilities Management Planner is recommending sweeping changes to operations in Dryden.
The complete list of changes comes in at $96-million.
Nick Coucill says the main priority is creating a new centre for Public Works, at a cost of $23-million.
He’s also suggesting that DMTS move into a new facility and expansion take place at the Museum and Library.
Other recommendations include renovating City Hall, as well as renovating or building a new Recreation Complex.
He notes that purchasing the Learning Centre and moving some operations there was one option, but notes that may now be on the back-burner.
The City was looking to purchase the building and property, but sources say another bidder has come to the table.
