The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union believes the
McGuinty Government doesn’t understand that the forest industry is the
second biggest contributor to the Provincial economy, with $19-billion
in annual sales.
Ontario-Vice President Cec Makowski was among 400-people who gathered
in Dryden last night to discuss the crisis in the sector and says
275,000 jobs could disappear if something isn’t done right away.
