Man Charged Following Highway Closure

A section of Highway 17 west of Kenora was closed for five hours yesterday.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to a multi-vehicle collision near Inglis Road, which involved a tractor trailer that entered the east bound lane in an effort to avoid a collision with a west bound trailer.
Three people were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The 34-year-old Quebec man who was driving the tractor trailer has been charged with careless driving.
