Man Charged in Death of Atikokan Woman

Police have arrested and charged a Lac Seul First Nation man in connection with the death of an Atikokan woman.
The body of 22-year-old Adele Matinet was found in her home February 28th by a family member.
Police say a post mortem determined the cause of death to be internal injuries caused by blunt force.
Charged with second degree murder is 26-year-old Dennis Trout.
Trout is in custody pending a court appearance.
