The Kenora Police are releasing few details of a drowning that took place at a beach in Kenora over the weekend.
Police and a rescue truck from the Fire and Emergency Services Department were dispatch around 8:00 Saturday night to Anicinabe Park.
A man had been swimming near the beach when he disappeared.
Emergency Service personnel were able to pull the man’s body out of the lake, but his name has not been released.
Kenora Police say they are continuing their investigation.
