A Cat Lake First Nation man refused to go quietly after he was arrested in downtown Sioux Lookout.
OPP received a report of an assault and the accused was located on Front Street.
Police determined the man was drunk and violating his bail conditions.
The victim of the assault was not injured.
When the man was transported to the Detachment, the accused began to resist the officers.
OPP report a brief altercation and the man was subdued.
Police say 41-year-old Joshua Gray faces counts of resisting arrest and failing to comply with an undertaking.
